Stone Disease (Kidney, Urinary Tracts and Bladder Stones)

Factors that cause stones by collapsing in the urine for different reasons are also present in childhood, and their diagnosis and treatment show differences specific to children. Pain, which is common in adults, may not be seen in children. Bloody peeing is also not always visible. In children, there is a possibility of narrowing in the channels in kidney and urinary canal stones, and breaking or removing the stone alone may not be enough. In addition, since some stones tend to recur constantly, the type of stone should be examined and diseases that may cause continuous stone formation in the child should be investigated and necessary precautions should be taken.
